And after nearly three months, this project has come to an end. Everyone's tasks are finished, and the 3D and 2D assets have been completed, so the project looks like a proper game now. The sounds, music, cutscenes, and dialogue voiceovers are all there, creating a detective game feel. Surprisingly, even though I was skeptical about the project's final form just days before, everyone waited until the last moment to showcase their parts, and it was worth it. Here are some pictures of the final desk assets and a closer look at the first diorama: (Some UI elements are still missing from these pictures. Gitlab throws an error when I try to pull the latest version, but there is a video with it at the end.)

Of all the projects this year, this one turned out to be the best. Everyone put in a decent effort, and the results speak for themselves. Although the story isn't fully finished, there's still enough content for over 20 minutes of gameplay. The story itself is fantastic, the 3D and 2D assets are amazing, and the backend is relatively bug-free, which means everyone did an amazing job. However, there are still some errors that need to be fixed and some revamping to make the project cleaner. But given the time constraints of a university assignment, it's more than acceptable and something that I will definitely put on my portfolio.

Without saying much more, here's the video - enjoy!

Thank you for following this project!
