The development process included:
Programming the movement and abilities for the main character.
Programming the UI elements function, such us cooldown indicator, health and stamina bar, damage numbers and main menu.
Particle visuals addition for the main character for better visual feedback and graphics.
Working with Unreal shader graph to create post process shader to able to see the enemy through the wall.
Populate the map with foliage and with a village on the background.
Pitch
The legend of the Protector is a simple third person view RPG game, with an open field game area filled with enemies, where the player task is to eliminate every enemies using various attacks and abilities.
Almost Multiplayer
At the beginning of this project one of the plan was to create an online multiplayer RPG game, but later due to the lack of time it couldn't happen, but I did my research and here is what I was able create:
