The development process included:
Programming user interface for the editor (since GFC has no GUI) which is interactive with the mouse and contains every tile and item, enabling the user to draw on the screen and build the levels.
Programming particle system to improve the quality of the effects.
Creating 2D assets, including the player character, tilemap, animations, and backgrounds.
Designing 30 unique levels across 4 different biomes.

Escape is 2D platformer game where the goal is to complete the challenge filled levels with various upgrades and tools which are obtained through the journey.
Description
Escape is a game centered around an unnamed android character who must navigate through a realm where everything and everyone seeks to destroy them. The game features different biomes, each with its own set of traps and obstacles, such as moving saws, spikes, fire turrets, bouncing enemies, and more. The goal of the game is to survive each obstacle and acquire the necessary tools and skills to progress further in the world. My aim is to create various types of biomes or territories and fill them with fitting traps and obstacles. Currently, the backstory of how the player ends up in this situation remains a mystery.
